BARLEYmax™ foods available in Japan
BARLEYmax™ foods will now be available in Japan. For nearly two years Teijin Corporation has been working with The Healthy Grain company to design a BARLEYmax™ granola bar and a biscuit bar for the exacting Japanese market.
This month Teijin will begin test marketing of nutritious, ready-to-eat BARLEYmax™ foods.
The marketing of the products in Japan will initially focus on the prebiotic components in BARLEYmax™, including resistant starch and the positive effect on digestive health, and the effect of beta glucan on cholesterol lowering.
